This dress was purchased at the Rebecca Schoneveld boutique in Brooklyn, NY, during a sample sale in July 2016. It was not a sample however, rather it was a size 2 custom Amelia-Emma-Leah gown from the mix-and-match collection that was ordered, but not followed through on (the receipt reflects the $1603.00 I paid for the dress, as the deposit had already been paid by the orderer). It is delicate and lightweight, composed of silk crepe, silk chiffon, and chantilly lace, and the fabric is stunning. The shades of ivory come off warm in hue, and lean toward a candlelight/ cream tone, rather than white. It is very easy to dance and sit in, and was perfect for an extremely joyful early October 2017 wedding. I hope that someone will enjoy it as much as I did.
The lace on the cap sleeves tore a little during the reception, however it has been professionally repaired. It is not completely perfect, yet also not terribly noticeable. I may suggest having one spot in the lace reinforced. Additionally, the lining/slip layer of the skirt (a delicate silk charmeusse) has a couple of areas where the seam is pulling apart a bit due to fraying. This could either be repaired by a tailor, or you could choose to replace the slip/ lining layer of the skirt. Please reference the pictures. There is not enough fabric to let the dress out at all, but it can be taken in.
Belt pictured is not incuded.
Please let me know if you have any questions at all.
